That's me, the Slow Loris
I’m a Slow Loris, a small primate known for my big round eyes and my slow, deliberate movements. What’s really special about me is that I’m one of the few mammals that’s venomous! My bite can cause serious allergic reactions.
Habitat
I live in the rainforests of Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and parts of India.

There are only about 10,000 of us left in the wild, though numbers vary depending on the species.
Why am I endangered?
Deforestation and illegal pet trade are the biggest threats to us. People take us from the wild to sell as pets, which is both cruel and illegal.
