Hey, I’m a Borneo Pygmy Elephant, the smallest elephant on Earth! I have a baby-like face, large ears, and a gentle nature, making me different from other elephants.

I live in the tropical rainforests of Borneo, mainly in Sabah, Malaysia, and parts of Indonesia.

This is the remaining population

There are fewer than 1,500 of us left in the wild.

That's why I'm endangered

I’m almost extinct, because our forests are being cut down for palm oil plantations and logging. As our habitat shrinks, we lose food, water, and places to roam, which threatens our survival.
